Flu Season Tidbits
Written by: Laura Kim and Shianne Chapman
We asked Nurse Morgan some questions because it is getting
close to flu season.
One of the questions we asked her was, “What can you do to
keep from getting sick.”
Her answer was, “ You get rest, stay home, wash your hands,
and get the flu shot.”
Next we asked, “What are the symptoms of flu season?” Her
answer was, “Fever, body aches, cough, and a runny nose.” Another question we
asked her was, “Do a lot of people come in during flu season and has anyone
gotten sick yet?” She said, “No one has gotten sick yet luckily, and not a lot
of people come in during flu season.” Our last question was, “Approximately,
how many people come in with headaches and stomachaches every month?” She said,
“At least 20- 30 a month.” We hope our paragraph was useful to you.
20 - 30!! Wow, Nurse Morgan is a busy lady! Very good tips Shianne and Laura - wash, wash, wash your hands :) Lilly X2 - thank you for RED day reminder!
